A well-established school in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a part-time basis for a 6-month assignment.
Your new roleYou will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger function, including:
1. Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately.
2. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries.
3. Preparing payment runs and maintainingpliance with internal controls.
4. Ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping within Sage 200.
5. Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Previous experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable.
7. Strong working knowledge of Sage 200.
8. High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
9. Excellent organisational andmunication skills.
