Rotherham Early Years and Childcare Service is looking to recruit to the position of Early Years Technical Support Officer (Data). This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy team that provides support to the Early Years and Childcare Sector.

The role of Early Years Technical Support Officer is interesting and varied, including organising key data collections required by the service, producing monitoring information, responding to enquiries from childcare providers and supporting the wider Early Years team.
Accurate maintenance and processing of data using Microsoft Excel, with attention to detail is essential to the role.
Ideally you will have a relevant qualification. Experience of administration, databases, Microsoft excel, and online systems is essential, as is an understanding of GDPR.
We're also looking for strong organisational skills with the ability to communicate with people from a wide variety of backgrounds through a range of channels including telephone and email.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year. In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
