We are entrepreneurial, innovative and value collaboration. About the Operations Team The Operations department are looking to fill an Investment Administration Associate role within the team. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Investment Administration Team Leader and will be responsible for the day to day administration within the team. The main responsibilities of the role will include day to day processing of items received on a daily basis within the internal set SLA’s. The successful applicant will also need to provide assistance to the other sub teams of the Investment Administration team, ensuring that all work is processed and quality checked on the same day. The successful candidate will also have involvement alongside their Team Leader with process improvements and procedural changes moving forward. Key responsibilities within the Investment Admin Associate will be dependent on the team they join. About the Transfers Team The Transfers Team deals with all transfers in and out of Parmenion, whether that be as cash (selling assets and transferring the cash), or in specie (transferring funds and shares as they are without sales). You would be involved at each stage of the transfer, from the initial request to applying assets to client accounts. We use several tools to help us do this, including the Origo Transfer Service and Equisoft/transfers (previously Altus Transfer Gateway) for electronic transfers. We liaise with other firms to make sure transfers complete efficiently and accurately, as well as providing updates to Advisers and sorting out any issues which might come up. Communication is really important when dealing with transfers. We spend a lot of time talking to or emailing other internal teams or external firms, including Advisers, Fund Managers and other account providers. Whilst the team is made up of two sub-teams, we aim to have everyone cross trained so that we can support each other and provide the best service to our clients. All suggestions on improvements are welcome and we’re constantly developing and improving. Don’t worry if you haven’t used these systems or done these processes before, you would get full training and you’re sure to have skills which can be used in this role. This position has a six month probation period during which the notice period will be one week on either side. On successful completion of the probation this notice period will increase to one month. The successful candidate will be required to provide satisfactory references from their current and previous employers covering a period of up to 12 years and will need to satisfy confidential background checks. These are currently undertaken via Experian and include identity, criminal records and personal financial.
