Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves the upkeep of various landscapes, ensuring that gardens and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. The Landscape Technician will utilise a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators, to carry out their duties effectively.
Duties
* Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to maintain gardens and outdoor areas.
* Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
* Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues such as pests or diseases affecting plants.
* Collaborate with team members on larger landscaping projects, including construction tasks as needed.
* Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic repairs.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs.
Requirements
* Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred.
* Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating various equipment safely.
* Familiarity with gardening techniques and principles of horticulture is advantageous.
* Experience with excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,362.36 per year
