Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Location: Leicester
Salary: £30,000-£38,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
THE OPPORTUNITY
A well-established, quality-driven manufacturing business is looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to take ownership of their day-to-day marketing activity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone creative, organised and ambitious to play a genuine role in shaping how a respected brand presents itself — both internally and to the wider market.
Working closely with the Sales Director, you'll have real autonomy to manage content, channels and campaigns, with clear scope to grow into a more senior position over time.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
You'll take responsibility for the full marketing mix, including social media management, website content, digital reporting and internal communications. Day to day, you'll be creating and scheduling content that reflects the quality, people and processes the business is known for, monitoring performance across digital channels, and producing regular reports for senior management.
You'll maintain the marketing planner, manage the events diary and play an active part in both internal and external events, including attending networking events in London on a semi-regular basis. There's also a client-facing element — you'll be a welcoming first point of contact for visitors to the office.
This isn't a back-office role. You'll be visible, collaborative and involved across the business.
WHAT'S REQUIRED
* Experience in marketing, communications or content creation
* Strong written communication skills with a professional and considered style
* Creative mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas and suggest improvements
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Working knowledge of social media platforms and basic digital analytics
* Ability to report clearly to senior stakeholders
* Comfortable working collaboratively within an agreed creative framework
* A genuine desire to get fully involved, take initiative and grow with the role
WHAT'S ON OFFER
This role comes with genuine development potential — including greater decision-making authority and the possibility of managing an assistant in the future. It's well suited to someone looking for a long-term home where their contribution will be recognised and rewarded.
