We are working with a number of Liverpool primary schools seeking KS1 Learning Support Assistants to support pupils in Years 1 and 2.
Key responsibilities:
1. Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
2. Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
3. Supporting pupils with behaviour, engagement and emotional needs
4. Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff
5. Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The ideal candidate will have:
6. Experience working in KS1 or primary school settings
7. A proactive, patient and supportive approach
8. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
9. A relevant LSA / TA qualification (desirable)
10. An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
