Activities Co-ordinator
Salary: £14.13 per hour plus incentives
Location: Ewerby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 9PL
Hours: Full time 9am to 5pm, 5 shifts per week to include weekend working

Responsibilities
* Plan and organise activities

* Ambassador for the company inside and outside of the home
* Contribute to residents’ well‑being through personalised activities and prepare a weekly plan each Monday
* Provide support for residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges using person‑centred distraction techniques and activity baskets; offer one‑to‑one comfort and companionship for residents unable to participate, documenting interactions
* Upload the activity calendar to social media and display it around the home; post interesting activities on the home’s Facebook page
* Keep up to date with new developments in activities and care, attend activity meetings, and complete and display the monthly newsletter and post it to Facebook
* Encourage and involve team members, relatives and friends in activities; send communications; act as ambassador and organise fundraising, with all fundraising matched £‑to‑£ by Jasmine
Requirements
* At least two years of relevant experience as an activity coordinator in a care home or similar environment
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities, or willingness to contractually sign up to work towards one
* Minimum 35 hours per week, including 2 weekend days every four weeks
* Live within 20 minutes of the home
