Contract: Full-time, permanent (35 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

We are excited to invite an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join our expanding team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove!
Your Role and Responsibilities
* Manage purchase ledger systems, processes, and controls.
* Supervise, mentor, and develop a dedicated purchase ledger team (3 staff).
* Train and educate purchase order users with enthusiasm.
* Ensure timely weekly supplier payment processing and authorization.
* Resolve queries from suppliers and internal departments.
* Reconcile monthly statements from suppliers.
* Assist with month-end procedures and year-end accounts.
* Support the supply of audit information.
* Monitor, improve, and develop internal processes.
* Review and follow up on any suspicious invoices, escalating as necessary.
* Maintain and enhance fraud prevention controls, including supplier verification.
* Produce and review aged creditor reports, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.
About You
* Proven experience in purchase ledger, including purchase order systems.
* Leadership or people development experience is a plus.
* Familiarity with accounting software.
* A proactive attitude and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and a collaborative spirit.
