📍 Location: Scotland – Central Belt

Foodsales is a leading sales brokerage agency, partnering with major manufacturers and brand owners to deliver sales and marketing services to the UK’s independent trade sector. We specialise in supporting brands within the Wholesale, Discount, Cash & Carry, Foodservice, and Independent retail channels.

The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Territory Manager to join our nationwide team. In this role, you’ll represent an exciting portfolio of well-known food, drink and non-food brands to a network of Cash & Carries, Wholesalers, Foodservice Distributors, Independent retailers, and Symbol groups.

You’ll be the face of these brands in your area — managing customer relationships, growing sales, supporting symbol retailers with ad hoc activation projects, and identifying new business opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with recognisable household names and help drive their success in the independent trade sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing existing customer accounts on a structured call cycle (2/4/8/12 weekly visits)

• Driving sales growth by introducing new product lines and promotional activity

• Placing and processing orders accurately via an electronic database

• Conducting compliance checks and ensuring brand visibility in depot and retail environments

• Working directly with symbol retailers on ad hoc projects, promotional initiatives and in-store activations

• Proactively seeking out new customers and sales opportunities within your territory

• Reporting key market and competitor intelligence to the business

What We’re Looking For

• A proactive, self-motivated individual comfortable working remotely and independently

• A willingness to travel within your territory as required

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Confident using IT systems including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM/order management platforms

• Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence depot managers, buyers, and symbol group retailers

• A full, clean UK driving licence

• Previous experience in FMCG, Wholesale, Foodservice, or Symbol group retail sales would be an advantage
