Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Rawtenstall Contract Type: Full-Time / Term Time Only Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025 Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences. Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support. Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment. Assist with the preparation of learning materials, classroom displays, and general organisation. Provide support with children’s personal care and wellbeing when needed. Foster children’s independence, resilience, and self-confidence. Contribute to the observation and assessment of children’s learning and development. About You We are looking for someone who is: Warm, caring, and passionate about supporting early childhood development. Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to engage young learners. Patient, adaptable, and able to respond to the needs of individual children. A strong communicator and team player. Ideally experienced in working within an EYFS setting (though training will be provided). A relevant childcare/early years qualification (e.g. Level 2/3) is desirable.
