Contract Position: Brook Street is currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant for a contract position with our esteemed government client. The initial contract runs until September 30th, 2024.
Location: The role is based at Harwell Campus in Didcot. It's a hybrid role, with the expectation of working 2 days per week in the office.
Pay Rate: Starting pay rate is £12.74 per hour, rising to £13.15 after 12 weeks.
Job Description: The purpose of this position is to provide effective support to the Directors in discharging their leadership and management responsibilities, ensuring that the Agency meets its overall objectives. The role involves day-to-day office management, administration duties such as travel booking and management, in-box triage, responding to correspondence, and diary management.
Key Responsibilities:
Booking travel and accommodation for directors and accompanying travellers.
Prioritising meeting invitations and requests, managing their time efficiently.
Arranging meetings, booking meeting rooms, and sourcing suitable venues.
Providing logistical information for meetings, nationally and internationally.
Completing duties for successful meetings/events (e.g., catering, equipment arrangements).
Managing email correspondence, directing emails as appropriate.
Ensuring effective meeting administration (e.g., reminders, agendas).
Maintaining agency records and filing systems.
