About the Role
We are seeking a Re‑Entry Systems Trainer to develop and deliver training to a hands‑on team of Quality Control Inspectors (QCIs) and Engineering Compliance Officers based from Coulport, Helensbrugh. This role benefits from a 36 hour week Monday - Thursday
This is a new role and we are looking for an enthusiastic team member who can bring fresh ideas to our training delivery. The postholder will report to the Re‑Entry Systems Engineering Compliance Manager and be responsible for ensuring that customer requirements and contractual outputs are delivered in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Duties / Responsibilities
1. Work as a fully integrated member of the LMUK SS Training team and the Re‑Entry Systems Engineering Compliance team.
2. Design & deliver training material in support of operational training to defence standards in accordance with JSP 822 Defence Direction and Guidance for Training and Education.
3. Provide evidence of Suitably Qualified Experienced Personnel (SQEP) levels within the QCI and Engineering team enabling ‘sign‑off’.
4. Support operations to achieve training‑related outputs.
5. Conduct reviews of training documentation in accordance with LMUK SS and Defence Quality Processes.
6. Perform Inspector and Engineering deliverables in support of critical outputs
7. Maintain a working knowledge of approved documentation, mandatory health and safety legislation, acceptance standards and directives to ensure compliance with Trident Programme and company requirements.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
8. Proven experience in Re‑Entry Systems or SWS
9. Excellent organisational and workload‑management skills.
10. Strong communication, verbal and presentation skills.
11. Flexible and adaptable attitude.
12. Motivated, reliable, initiative‑driven, and able to meet deadlines.
13. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Desirable Skills
14. Experience as a Trainer or Training Designer
15. Experience with defence instructional delivery standards
16. An Engineering background
