Overview
We are recruiting for 1 full time permanent Team Lead to join the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service.
The Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service is a busy caring team consisting of Administration staff, PWPs, CBT Practitioners, and Counsellors. We deliver Talking Therapies to the people of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin which has exciting, diverse and growing modern towns, surrounded by the stunning Shropshire countryside.
Responsibilities
* Working as part of the operational leadership team, you will provide line management to a group of Step 2 / Step 3 staff, and will have the opportunity to be actively involved with service development through project work.
* You will provide all aspects of line management support for a group of Step 2 / Step 3 staff within the Service
* You will work closely with the Strategic Operational Lead and Service Operational Lead to ensure that the Service KPI's are met, + You will managerially lead the Step 2 / Step 3 staff of the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service. This will include appraising staff and providing line management supervision whilst adhering to the key principles of the NHS Talking Therapies programme contained in the NHS Talking Therapies Manual
* You will provide all aspects of line management to Step 2 / Step 3 clinicians (trainee & qualified) within the service.
* You will be responsible for ensuring that service and individual performance targets at Step 2 / Step 3 are met, identifying and resolving underperformance and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve results.
* You are not expected to have a clinical caseload, although a small caseload could be negotiated to meet the minimum requirements for professional registration/ Accreditation within one core modality.
* You will be working with Staff, Service Users and Carers from different cultural backgrounds, ages, difference and diversity, and should be committed to culturally sensitive practice and offering equality of opportunity.
