As a Director of Clinical Services at our Brighton Hospital, you’ll have a strong track record in leading and developing nursing practice. As well as a thorough understanding of evidence-based practice and the health care regulatory agenda, you’re able to stabilise and re-engage teams, driving the standards of care. As a Director of Clinical Services, you will: • Quickly understand the clinical challenges facing our hospital and build excellent relationships with internal customers and external bodies. • Ensure that we provide safe and effective care through a range of surgical and medical interventions. • Deliver effective operational management and inspirational leadership. • Be a role model for excellent clinical governance, providing strategy and direction for our hospital. • Champion improvements to clinical standards, care and service across wards, theatres, outpatients, pharmacy, radiology, imaging, cardiology and pathology. • Always be approachable and accessible to patients, relatives and colleagues. Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy, health screening, diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
