Job Description
The key responsibilities for a Management Accountant will include:
* Oversee the end to end management accounts function.
* Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
* Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
* Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
* Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
* Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
* Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Experience managing end to end management accounts and a strong background in financial reporting and forecasting.
* Part qualified working towards professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar.
* Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
* Proficient using accounting software ideally SAGE and solid MS excel skills.
* Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
