Role: Litigation Director

Relevant Experience:
The incumbent should be a qualified senior legal professional, with at least 10 years’ experience in litigation, dispute resolution, risk management, and proven leadership in Litigation with an impressive track record to lead strategic legal initiatives across complex jurisdictions including the United Kingdom and ANZ. The candidate should have the ability to apply this expertise for formulating corporate strategies and governance in the IT services industry.
Should have experience as a strong legal strategy advisor, including development and implementation of corporate legal/litigation strategies and legal governance by integrating risk management into executive decision-making and internal compliance frameworks, in alignment with business goals.
Academic Qualification:
* Bachelor’s degree in law.
* Master’s degree in business management will be an added advantage.
Role Description:
* Act as a growth advisor for Espire Infolabs, by identifying and creating new business opportunities for growth, aligned with, but not limited to legal strategy, to meet the growth trajectory goals.
* Manage high-value, complex legal disputes, including multi-party litigation cases from pre-trial to final resolution or appeal, while aligning the litigation course and strategy with commercial objectives.
* Provide strategic direction and expert legal counsel in managing high-stakes litigation for the company.
* Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and strategies, preferably in UK and ANZ regions, considering these are top business regions for Espire Infolabs.
* Project manage the company in legal proceedings involving the company, ensuring effective risk mitigation and adherence to regulatory standards.
* Review legal contracts of varied range and provide strategic inputs on same, in alignment with business objectives and local legal requirements.
* Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, including growth planning, market expansion, innovation, M&A opportunities, partnerships, and investments by providing legal/regulatory inputs involved in the process.
* Partner with senior leadership to design legal strategies for long-term growth in alignment with organization’s objectives, including creating long-term plans, identifying key performance metrics, and analyzing performance against these metrics to positively impact business goals.
* Develop litigation dashboards and reporting systems to track case milestones and financial risks across jurisdictions, sharing insights with stakeholders and senior management.
* Build and review internal reporting frameworks to ensure sound corporate legal/litigation governance and strategic risk assessments through proactive risk identification and mitigation.
* Provide guidance and thought leadership to the Executive team on legal strategy matters, including ongoing litigations.
