Due to increasing workload, we are now looking for a Commercial Assistant to support the team.
Overall purpose of the job:
To provide accurate measurement and valuation data in a timely manner, enabling SQS to receive payment for works delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Complete daily applications based on measures completed by SQS using our Ontrack Management System.
2. Record invoices to facilitate management reports as required.
3. Ensure that copies of all invoices, measure sheets, and supporting documents are filed for reference.
4. Attend contract review meetings as needed to ensure all commercial aspects are covered and understood.
5. Support the Operational team by providing reports to monitor performance.
6. Assist in producing monthly cost and profit statements as part of the contract team.
7. Help prepare weekly costings for each contract to monitor costs and values closely.
8. Enter all application or invoice data into SAGE for monthly management reports.
9. Engage with clients regarding overdue payments and escalate issues to line managers if clients are problematic or unwilling to pay.
