To be successful as a Senior Test Manager, you should have experience with:
* Leading testing functions for medium to large multi-year transformation programmes in the Banking/Finance domain
* Coordinating and working with multi-location delivery teams
* Stakeholder management and engaging with Accountable executives at Director/Managing Director level
* Working in a Centre of Excellence (CoE) based federated Technology delivery model is desirable
Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include:
* Preferred Qualifications: Degree in a numerate subject (e.g., maths, computer science, etc.)
* Prior experience in Treasury/Finance domains
* Experience working in an Agile development environment
* Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
This role will be based in our Northampton office.
Purpose of the role: To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure software quality and reliability.
Accountabilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and develop acceptance criteria.
* Perform root cause analysis for defects, working closely with developers for resolution.
* Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.
* Stay informed of industry trends and contribute to technology communities to foster technical excellence.
