Role Overview
As an Occupational Therapist at Soar, you will:
* Plan and implement engaging occupational therapy for children aged 2-6 in a center-based setting.
* Develop interventions to enhance gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and daily living activities.
* Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and collaborate with other specialists (ABA, speech, psychology) to create effective treatment plans.
* Coach and mentor a team of RBTs, helping them translate OT goals into their therapy while supporting their career growth.
* Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate necessary changes with team members and families.
* Partner with families to set goals, build relationships, and support them throughout their journey.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who:
* Hold a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Possess a valid license to practice occupational therapy.
* Have 3+ years of experience (preferred), but we also welcome new OTs eager to start their careers!
* Embody a playful spirit and have the ability to connect with young children.
* Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
