A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a committed Attendance Officer to join the pastoral team from January 2026.
The Role
Working closely with pastoral leads and safeguarding staff, you will support the school’s attendance strategy by:
* Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality
* Making first-day absence calls and home visits (with pastoral support)
* Updating attendance on SIMS/Arbor
* Producing reports for Heads of Year and SLT
* Coordinating attendance meetings and improvement plans
* Working with external agencies when required
