Apex Appoint is working on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturer based in Malton, who are looking to add anEngineering Team Leaderto their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong people management skills and a solid engineering background in the food or FMCG sector.
Youll be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Engineers on shift, supporting the day-to-day running of the site while also driving improvements across engineering performance.
The role is based on a4 on, 4 offshift pattern, working6am to 6pm, with a salary of£50,400.
Youll be overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance, supporting safe systems of work on site, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Theres a strong focus on continuous improvement, so experience with lean tools and an ability to spot opportunities to improve workflow and output will be key.
Youll also play a big part in supporting wider site KPIs, working closely with the Engineering Manager, and helping develop the capability of the team through coaching and clear performance expectations.
