I am partnered with a company that acquire, manage, and grow vertical market businesses. You’ll report to their Head of HR and work in a lean, high-trust environment where your impact will be visible.
The Job
My client is looking for a People & Culture M&A Partner to lead the people-side of mergers and acquisitions from due diligence to post-deal integration. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a successful, acquisitive, and values-driven company.
What You'll Do
1. Lead full M&A cycles from a People & Culture perspective – including due diligence, risk assessment, onboarding, and cultural integration.
2. Partner with newly acquired businesses to align HR practices, policies, and people strategies.
3. Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Finance and operational leaders across the group.
4. Advise at BP/HR Advisor level on sensitive casework and structural changes, acting as a trusted consultant.
5. Use your data and spreadsheet fluency to interpret and communicate people metrics, risks, and opportunities clearly.
6. Travel regularly across Eastern Europe and Scandinavia to meet with stakeholders and forge strong, personal connections.
What You'll Bring
7. Proven experience in M&A due diligence and integration, ideally in a multi-country environment.
8. Excellent attention to detail, with confidence handling complex HR data.
9. A strong understanding of employment law and people-related risk in M&A contexts.
10. Empathy, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport quickly in cross-cultural settings.
11. A hands-on, pragmatic style with a willingness to travel and engage at all levels.
12. Languages (especially Eastern European or Scandinavian) would be a distinct advantage.
