Your Mission:
As a Lead Engineer at MPG, you will balance leadership and technical responsibilities, contributing through hands-on programming and leading a team of motivated engineers, fostering team spirit and encouraging excellent results.
You will collaborate with industry leaders to design features, solve complex problems, and push technological boundaries, always aiming to support your team's growth and success.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a team of Principal, Senior, and Software Engineers, managing performance and development to ensure high-quality service to clients
* Design and implement functionality for external clients
* Work on areas including gameplay, AI, UI, Multiplayer, and Core Tech
* Identify and mitigate potential risks in solutions
* Apply sound software engineering principles to solve problems
* Minimize technical and maintenance issues
* Champion quality in MPG and client development processes
What we need from you:
* Extensive experience in game development
* Experience mentoring and coaching team members
* Support for HR initiatives like development discussions, recruitment, and performance management
* Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
* Strong technical skills and timely task completion
* Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback
* Problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
* Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Unity, or other engines
* Experience with PC and console platforms
