JOB DETAILS JOB BAND: F CONTRACT TYPE: 12 months Part-time / Fixed-term Contract – 2.5 Days per week (Flexible on days) DEPARTMENT: BBC HR LOCATION: Flexible with the expectation of UK travel and regular in person team working days in London and other locations around the UK. We welcome candidates who can also grow a presence in other BBC bases, and who are able to commit to in-person working where needed alongside a variety of BBC departments and divisions PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £87,000 - £97,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. WORKING HOURS: This role is a job share 2.5 days a week with working patterns to be agreed to meet business needs. Collaborate with HRBPs to co-create culture change initiatives aligned with divisional goals, providing tools, coaching, and expertise to embed values and behaviours. Act as a trusted coach to senior leaders, building credibility and commitment to lead and influence meaningful cultural transformation. Deliver measurable outcomes using People Experience, project management, and continuous improvement, adapting initiatives based on impact and feedback. Build divisional capability for sustained culture change through innovation, leadership development, and alignment with BBC values. Shape group-wide strategies by sharing insights and actively contributing to People Experience goals and the transformation of colleague experience. Engage external partners to benchmark performance and bring in fresh, practical insights that enhance divisional culture initiatives. Essential Criteria YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Delivered measurable business impact by influencing culture, enabling others, and driving outcomes through collaborative leadership. Deep knowledge of divisional HR models with experience leading change within complex organisational structures. Partnered with senior leaders to design and deliver change initiatives that achieved tangible results and foster lasting cultural shifts. Experienced at managing and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Translates group-wide strategies into locally relevant actions. Mobilised senior leaders and HRDs by providing challenge, support, and momentum to accelerate transformation. Expertise in culture and behaviour change with an understanding of People Experience principles to amplify employee voice and build inclusive, engaged change communities.
