Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic and energetic team combining their accounting experience with a fresh and innovative approach utilising cloud accounting software. The role will be to undertake and review accounts preparation work as directed and help to support in managing client relationships to deliver outstanding client service.
* Preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts
* Assistance with tax compliance work
* Assisting client managers with portfolio management
* Supporting clients with transitions to cloud accounting
* Prepare management and year-end accounts, as well as tax computations and supporting schedules.
* Develop strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client care and adherence to deadlines.
* Prepare and deliver accurate client outputs within agreed timeframes and budgets.
* Support and mentor junior team members, acting as a buddy and sharing knowledge.
* Demonstrate a proactive approach to business development and identifying client opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Full or part qualified (ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent)
* Strong technical groundings across accounts and tax
* Proficient with accounting and tax systems
* Commercially minded with clear understand of client business contexts
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
* A collaborative team player who supports, mentors, and learns from others.
