Company context
We are working with a global engineering firm with offices across Scotland to support them in their search for a Business Branch Manager, to take ownership of one of the offices in Falkirk, overseeing both commercial and operational functions. You’ll be responsible for driving profitability, leading a high-performing team, and strengthening key client relationships to ensure continued success.
Responsibilities
* Take full P&L ownership, drive profitable growth, and develop new business opportunities.
* Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring strong operational delivery.
* Build lasting client relationships and develop strategic partnerships to meet evolving demands.
* Implement robust processes to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Identify opportunities for expansion, improve service offerings, and drive a customer-first approach.
Qualifications
* A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in a management role.
* Experience within engineering, distribution, manufacturing or similar (however if you come from a different industry and feel you would make impact, please do apply)
* Experience owning P&L and successfully managing profit and cost centres.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in motivating and influencing a team.
* Commercial expertise in sales, key account development and customer relationship management.
* A data-driven, process orientated mindset with a keen focus on continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Confidence and drive to challenge the status quo and push business performance to the next level.
