About the role
We are seeking an organised, resilient, and highly professional Personal Assistant to support senior leadership within a fast-paced organisation delivering complex, large-scale operations and live events. This is a trusted role, working close to decision-making, where sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
You will provide high-quality executive and administrative support, play a key role during periods of peak operational activity, and be comfortable working unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends. On-site presence is required, particularly during the delivery of major operational activity.
Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive PA support to senior leaders, including but not limited to diary and inbox management, coordinating meetings and logistics, preparing correspondence and documents, and acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will support planning and delivery activity during busy operational periods, assist with the coordination of events and travel, and ensure that priorities are managed effectively in a fast-moving environment. The role requires professionalism, discretion, and the confidence to anticipate issues and resolve them calmly and efficiently.
About you
You will be highly organised, dependable, and comfortable operating under pressure. You will have experience providing administrative or PA support in a demanding environment and be confident managing multiple priorities at once. You will exercise good judgement, handle sensitive information appropriately, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times. You will be flexible, resilient, and prepared to adapt your working pattern during peak periods, including evenings and weekends.
Working arrangements
This role includes unsociable hours and weekend working, particularly during peak operational periods.
On-site presence is essential during the delivery of large-scale operations and live events. This is not a fully remote role during those periods.
This role is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this role is £25,000 per annum, based on a full-time position.
