Responsibilities The successful candidate will work as a SMS Manager performing various tasks including. Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System across the organization. Collect, analyse, and act on safety data from operational teams to mitigate risks effectively. Maintain and update the Hazard Log and Risk Register, ensuring timely corrective actions. Prepare and distribute safety communications such as newsletters, bulletins, and alerts. Support Safety Action Group (SAG) and Safety Review Board (SRB) meetings with comprehensive reports, agendas, and minutes. Coordinate and oversee safety training programs and maintain the SMS training database. Develop and implement initiatives to raise safety awareness and promote a proactive safety culture. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar). Accredited Safety Management Systems certification or equivalent training. Senior aviation experience, with strong knowledge of ESAS and MRO Part 145 regulations. Familiarity with safety management software (e.g., Q-Pulse) and quality management principles. Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills. Strong presentation and communication abilities, with the skill to write clear, concise technical reports. Highly organized, reliable, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure, including night shifts. Benefits and Work Arrangement Permanent full-time position, offering job stability.
