The Role
This is a key Senior Architect position responsible for leading the delivery of architectural projects across a varied portfolio, with a strong focus on defence and secure environments.
You will act as Lead Consultant, managing projects from feasibility through to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring delivery to the highest technical and regulatory standards.
Applicants must hold active UK SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead architectural projects from £300k–£10m, including secure defence schemes
* Act as Lead Consultant across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders
* Deliver feasibility studies, planning applications, and technical design work
* Manage tendering processes, value engineering, and contract administration
* Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and MOD/JSP standards
* Oversee site progress, technical delivery, and financial performance
* Mentor junior team members and support team development
* Contribute to client engagement and business development activity
Skills & Experience
* RIBA Part III qualified Architect
* Experience within defence or secure environments (essential)
* Strong project management and leadership skills
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (BIM experience desirable)
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and NBS specification writing
* Experience in multi-disciplinary project environments
