Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to deliver hands‑on technical support, maintenance, and optimisation of automated warehouse systems. You’ll work with complex electrical, mechanical, and control technologies to ensure operational excellence across customer sites.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain, fault‑find, and optimise automated systems (electrical, mechanical & controls)
* Provide software support and emergency response when needed
* Support system ramp‑ups and continuous improvement
* Work closely with customers and senior stakeholders
* Analyse system data and service reports to proactively reduce downtime
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in automation / industrial maintenance / commissioning (UK)
* Strong electrical bias; automation, robotics, or electronics background
* Siemens Step7 / TIA Portal experience
* Comfortable working independently and on the road
* Confident communicator able to represent engineering solutions on customer sites
