39 hour week, working hours 8am-4:30pm Monday -Thursday & 8am-3:30pm on Friday
Start at 26 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days plus bank holidays
Van, Fuel card, Uniform & Tools provided
Key must haves – full clean driving licence, experience in the built environment
What you'll be doing
You will undertake the correct diagnosis and method of responsive maintenance to achieve a ‘first time fix’ and outstanding customer satisfaction
You will contribute to and use the criteria and scope for responsive repairs to maximise use of the available expenditure
You will contribute to and use the relevant mobile working solution for job allocation, data transfer and collection
You will adopt a flexible responsive maintenance service between the core working hours (currently Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm) and an out of hours service at all other times
You will provide a high level of customer service at all times, behaving in a respectful, courteous and polite manner to internal and external customers when representing Great Places Housing Group
You will follow the Group’s equal opportunities policies and practices and promote cultural diversity across all aspects of the team’s work.
You will undertake and contribute to a competence based framework through specific training and development initiatives
What you'll need
NVQ level 2 is desirable however not essential, or equivalent recognised competency in Bricklaying/General Building
At least three years in the built environment, across multi-trades
Evidence of delivering first class customer service in responsive maintenance
Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
Organisation and ability to time-manage work load
