Purpose of Role
The Site Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, overseeing site operations from inception through to handover.
You will ensure that every stage of construction reflects Millway Builders' uncompromising standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
This role requires a hands-on leader who understands the complexities of bespoke projects, intricate detailing, and premium finishes.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations
* Coordinate subcontractors, specialist trades, and suppliers
* Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
* Maintain exceptional quality control across all finishes and installations
* Monitor project timelines and proactively manage sequencing
* Oversee site health & safety and ensure full compliance with regulations
* Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical challenges efficiently
* Liaise professionally with clients, architects, interior designers, and consultants
* Work with the Quantity Surveyor and Contract Manager to manage budgets, track costs, and report progress
* Lead snagging, practical completion, and client handover processes
Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience managing high-end and heritage residential bespoke projects
* Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and premium materials
* Ability to interpret detailed architectural and interior design drawings
* Experience coordinating complex MEP and specialist installations
* SMSTS certification (or equivalent)
* First Aid qualification
* Trade background advantageous

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
