Position: Assistant Support Worker

Salary: £19,656 per annum
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week)

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Assistant Support Worker to join our friendly and committed team at Cressex Road, a vibrant supported living service in High Wycombe.
This a shared supported living house, home to six people aged between 34 and 91 years of age who each have their own en-suite room. The people we support attend a range of day services and community opportunities 3 to 5 days a week.
What You will Do:
As an Assistant Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way
Aid with the daily administration of medication
Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting
Organise trips to local amenities
Promoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goals
Following tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeingAs an Assistant Support Worker, you will;
Provide appropriate support to those who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence.
Build long lasting support relationships with people who will benefit from you "being the difference".
Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets each individual’s needs.
Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidaysHightown Benefits:
Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year (pro rata), including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service
£19,656 pa for a 30 hour a week contract (£12.60 per hour)
