A genuinely exciting Sales Manager/Junior Director position has arisen with this well-established and rapidly expanding supplier of roller shutter doors, fire curtains, gates, and barriers. They are looking for an experienced sales professional to assist in the day-to-day running of the business, as well as winning, overseeing, and managing new projects. Location:
You will work from an office based in the West Midlands, visiting sites and meeting potential new clients regularly.
Salary:
£45,000 to £55,000 basic salary plus bonuses, fully expensed company car or car allowance, 20 days annual leave, and company pension.
As Sales Manager, you will sell a wide range of products including roller shutters, fire curtains, smoke curtains, smoke vents, gates, and barriers to main contractors, building developers, architects, and local authorities.
Your role will involve managing and working closely with the Projects & Contracts Manager, overseeing and managing 4 engineers, and being responsible for existing project completion as well as hunting and tendering for new projects.
Responsibilities include:
* Oversee production, installation, and service to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
* Lead national sales strategies targeting sectors such as construction, retail, healthcare, and education.
* Collaborate with Directors on bid/tender responses and ensure competitive pricing strategies.
* Identify new market opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and the public sector across the UK.
* Lead strategic partnerships with main contractors, architects, and facilities managers.
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of field sales experience, be commercially minded, and have experience selling into main contractors, architects, and building developers. Experience overseeing projects and tendering is required. Knowledge of roller shutters or fire curtains is advantageous but not essential.
