Required skills and experience:
* Vocational qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline is desirable.
* Hands-on experience in automotive, mechanical, electrical, mechatronic or similar industry relevant environment considered.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The purpose of the Propulsion Test Technician role is to support the execution of propulsion system testing projects using specialised test equipment, ensuring accurate data collection and safe operations.
Key activities:
1. Conduct tests on propulsion systems using laboratory-based facilities, as outlined by project engineer or customer engineer.
2. Monitor and record test data, ensuring it meets quality and performance standards. Raising any anomalies or issues observed to project engineers.
3. Support the troubleshooting and resolving of issues in a methodical manner, introducing solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
