Driver Hire Ayrshire are seeking a reliable and fit LGV2 Driver to work one day a week (Fridays). The role involves delivering goods to farms, so comfort with rural delivery locations is a must. You will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck yourself using a forklift on-site and utilizing the tail lift upon delivery. Manual lifting will also be required, so being physically fit is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive an LGV2 vehicle to deliver goods to farms.
2. Load and unload the truck using a forklift on-site.
3. Utilize the tail lift to unload goods upon delivery.
4. Perform manual lifting and handling of deliveries.
5. Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in full.
6. Adhere to all safety regulations and driving laws.
Essential Requirements:
7. Valid LGV2 driving licence.
8. Forklift licence (experience operating a forklift is essential).
9. Ability to load and unload goods independently with a forklift and tail lift.
10. Physically fit for manual lifting.
11. Comfortable with farm deliveries and rural locations.
12. Excellent time management and reliability.
13. Good communication skills.
Job Details:
