Housekeeper Henley Regatta – Monday 29th June to Sunday 5th July 2026 £13.65 per hour Role & Person Outline Regatta is a six-day event set in the grounds of Phyllis Court Club, on the banks of the River Thames. As a Housekeeping Assistant you will help keep our Club clean and looking beautiful. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our 17 bedrooms, all public areas including bars, restaurants, lounges and bathrooms and the Fitness Centre. The role will include shift work including early mornings, evenings and weekends. You will often be working independently to ensure the high traffic public areas such as the Clubhouse and external toilet facilities areas remain clean, stocked, and presentable throughout this very busy event. You may also be asked to assist the housekeeping team in other areas of the Club when required, and full training will be provided The role involves walking, standing, and bending, but may also involve lifting and carrying heavy items. The role is very hands on, so a proactive approach is essential. You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this role. You must be available for work for the full 7-day period between 29 th June and 5 th July 2026 – early shifts starting at 06.00am and late shifts ending as late as 22.00pm. Full Training will be given BENEFITS Free meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) Sunday night after party Regatta tickets for friends and family on designated days Fun & Festive working atmosphere & Team DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will support the current housekeeping team with the following activities, full training on all tasks will be given. Maintaining the cleanliness of all public washrooms in the Clubhouse, Pavilion, and external toilet facilities Regularly checking, cleaning, and restocking toilets and washroom supplies throughout the day Hoovering and dusting public areas before start of the event Public area cleaning in high-traffic areas during the event Assisting the housekeeping team with other tasks when required (bedrooms cleaning, support with linen Acting in a professional and helpful manner in a guest-facing environment QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS YOU WILL NEED Ability to lift, carry and stand on your feet for long periods each day. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to work long hours. Ability to work as part of a team in a public facing environment. Ability to communicate effectively. Ensure a smart image and appearance at all times, adhering to the standards of dress policy. UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS You will be provided with a branded polo shirt but should be able to provide your own black trousers, black socks and sensible black shoes for duration of Regatta All candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence of this in line with government guidance. Successful completion of probationary period is also subject to satisfactory DBS disclosure and references.
