Be There From Day One – Help Shape a Brand-New Practice in Stockbridge
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon ready for an exciting new chapter? Would you love the opportunity to join a brand-new, purpose-built practice from the very beginning and help shape how it grows? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our new Stockbridge Vets for Pets practice.
This is a rare chance to be part of something special from day one—building a positive team culture, influencing how the practice runs, and delivering outstanding care in a modern, supportive environment.
About the Practice
Our state-of-the-art surgery, opening soon in Stockbridge, is located within one of our modern Pets at Home stores and has been thoughtfully designed with both clinical excellence and colleague wellbeing in mind.
The practice offers a bright, spacious, and pleasant working environment, equipped with modern facilities that support high clinical standards and efficient workflows. Everything has been designed to help you focus on what you do best—providing exceptional care to patients—while feeling supported, valued, and comfortable at work.
We’re passionate about creating a collaborative, positive, and inclusive culture, where every team member’s contribution matters and everyone feels part of something they’ve helped build.
The Opportunity
As a brand-new practice, this role offers the chance to work with a varied and interesting caseload, make the most of the skills you’ve already developed, and continue to grow professionally. You’ll have access to the equipment, support, and development opportunities needed to thrive, with ongoing encouragement for CPD, further qualifications, and career progression.
Whether you’re looking to refine your clinical interests, explore new areas, or simply enjoy working in a well-resourced first-opinion practice, this role offers both stability and opportunity.
About You & the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in delivering high-quality care. You’ll be confident in a first-opinion setting and motivated to work in a progressive, fast-paced practice with strong clinical standards.
As this is a brand-new practice, we’re happy to consider full-time or part-time hours. We genuinely understand the importance of work–life balance and are very open to conversations around shift patterns that work for you. There will be some weekend working, but importantly there are no out-of-hours requirements.

In return for your skills and commitment, we offer a comprehensive and competitive package designed to support both your career and your wellbeing:
1. Attractive salary up to £70,000 DOE (FTE)
2. Monday–Friday working, 9:00am–6:00pm
