Portable arm (as needed): Operate Romer arm for features best suited to portable coordinate measurement; generate spot-check reports where helpful. Documentation: Create and maintain inspection records (in-process/final), FAIR/ISIR style reports when required, and drawing mark-ups. Enter basic results in IMS/ERP/MRP as directed. Conformance control: Apply identification, traceability, and quarantine/hold tags; promptly raise NCRs with clear evidence (photos, measurements, drawing refs). Collaboration: Clarify drawing requirements & GD&T with Engineering; communicate issues early to minimise rework/delay. Tools & care: Use calibrated instruments, perform pre-use checks, segregate suspect equipment, and request calibration/repair— without owning site-wide calibration administration. HSE & Quality: Follow Trillium HSE procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work; participate in incident/near-miss reporting and continuous improvement. Deliverables Completed inspection records per job/operation. Non-conformance reports with evidence and suggested dispositions (where appropriate). Evidence & Traceability: Records results cleanly with drawing refs and instrument IDs; maintains auditable trails; raises NCRs with photos, data and proposed dispositions where appropriate. Conformance Decision-Making: Makes timely, defensible release/hold decisions; escalates when risk, safety or compliance are in play. Throughput & Prioritisation: Meets agreed inspection need-by dates; re-prioritises with the Inspection Team Lead; flags blockers early rather than rushing or cutting corners. Communication & Collaboration: Communicates issues clearly to machinists/engineering; closes the loop on queries; keeps stakeholders updated on WIP and risks. HSE & Workplace Discipline: Works to risk assessments and safe systems; keeps benches/plates organised; reports hazards/near misses promptly.
