We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Catering Team Leader to join our Edinburgh schools account in Craigroyston Primary School, Muirhouse Place West, Edinburgh EH4 4PX, for 35 hours per week (Shift Pattern 07:30am till 15:00pm, inc. 30 mins unpaid break, Term time only).
What you will do:
* Ensure the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen and service area is outstanding.
* Lead a hands‑on role, responsible for efficient food preparation, following menu guidelines, undertaking and monitoring stock control, supervising 6 staff members to work within COSHH and HACCP standards, and providing a catering service in a safe and hygienic environment.
What you will bring:
* Cook experience.
* Highly organised, responsible, efficient and with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong customer service skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethic.
* Willingness to learn and support others.
* Management experience not essential.
* Basic IT skills.
* Basic numeracy/literacy skills.
