Job Description

As our Facilities Manager, you will head up the Facilities function of our business, including Front of House. You will lead, design, advise upon, and implement a working environment that supports business growth, employee wellbeing, and engagement.

Responsibilities include:

* Ensuring full Health, Safety & Environmental compliance of COOMBES offices and workspaces.
* Managing waste, implementing strategies for environmental sustainability.
* Acting as the nominated person for pesticide/chemical storage, leading BASIS audits, and ensuring compliance.
* Supporting sustainability initiatives, focusing on energy, waste, and procurement.
* Establishing processes for maintenance issues, managing security, CCTV, and PAT testing compliance.
* Monitoring pest control and working with external parties to resolve issues.
* Leading, coaching, and developing the Reception and Facilities team.
* Overseeing procurement of office equipment and furnishings.
* Managing PPE and uniforms, ensuring compliance.
* Managing reception operations and related duties.
* Managing stores, maintaining stock levels, and organizing logistics.
* Handling office leases, insurances, and maintaining supplier relationships.
* Coordinating contracts with third-party service providers.
* Traveling to sites to ensure standards are maintained and consistent practices are followed.
* Responding to emergency facilities needs as a Key Holder.

Qualifications and experience:

* IWFM/BIFM qualifications or equivalent, or willingness to obtain.
* NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications or willingness to obtain.
* BASIS Storekeeper Certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Experience leading audits and understanding UK legislative requirements.
* Proven leadership skills and ability to embody company values.
* Strong communication skills.
* Experience in policy and process implementation.
* Full UK driving license (necessary for multi-site role).
