We are looking for Greenkeepers to join on a fixed-term contract for the 2026 season, (April until end of October) to work in the department to help prepare the courses for play each day. In 2026 we will host the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the DP World Tour in early October along with the many regular tournaments held across our courses each summer. The job would involve working five days from seven while you would also be expected to work additional hours every third weekend on average. Approximate times are 5.30am until 1.30pm through the bulk of the season. Ideally suited to any greenkeeper looking to expand their knowledge and learn about different grasses, soils and tournament preparations while experiencing a different culture. This is also a great opportunity for any greenkeeper returning to the UK after experiencing southern hemisphere life and looking to get back into the industry in the UK. For the successful candidates there may be the opportunity for a permanent position if one becomes available. Tasks would include most mowing operations; course set-up and the usual general tasks associated with golf course maintenance. The successful candidates should be passionate about providing the best possible playing surfaces to ensure we deliver memorable experiences to every golfer at the Home of Golf. The Greenkeeping Department is split into 4 different teams: i) The Old Course; the New and Jubilee; ii) the Eden, Strathtyrum & Balgove and Golf Academy grounds; iii) the Castle Course; iv) the Craigtoun Course which is our newest addition. Irrespective of what team you are allocated to, there may be an opportunity to work on the Old Course during tournaments and on some Sundays as it is closed for golf on a Sunday and is an ideal opportunity to carry out maintenance.
