You will be an essential part of a team of therapists working in the MSK outpatient Dept., you will be based at one of our 3 sites depending on service need, Runcorn, Widnes or Warrington.

Duties and responsibilities: To be a dynamic member of the MSK OPD Team providing expert assessment and treatment of patients referred from primary care or secondary care. To have a role involved with the triaging of patient referrals.
To provide support and supervision to junior members of staff, physiotherapy practitioners, assistants and students. You will be required to provide administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and an efficient service. Obtain verbal consent from patients before starting the assessment or treatment.
You will play a role in developing the service, promoting health awareness, being involved in In service training.
You will be involved in running group physiotherapy sessions for varying pathologies which may include, shoulder, lower limb and TKR groups.
Competencies will be completed over a period of time within protected supervision with a senior member of the physiotherapy team.
Working for our organisation
The successful candidate will join our established outpatient physiotherapy service, providing MSK assessment, advice and treatment to patients referred by Orthopaedic, Rheumatology, Pain consultants, GP's, AHP's, FCP's and ED Advanced practitioners. We have excellent communication with the consultants and other members of the MDT.
The successful candidate will provide MSK assessment, advice and treatment to patients. Treatment options are, Hydrotherapy, Gym Classes, Pain Management Groups and Face to Face. The successful candidate will be required to provide supervision. We offer excellent team support and regular informal and formal supervision with experienced clinicians, including specialists in Upper limb, Lower limb, Spinal, Paediatrics, Rheumatology, Chronic pain and A&E. CPD is offered in the form of regular in-service training, internal and external courses.
