Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young children's skills and knowledge in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education, with the ability to manage and engage with children effectively. The Early Years Educator will work collaboratively with parents, staff, and the community to promote the holistic development of each child.
Responsibilities
* Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Manage daily routines and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all children.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
* Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and planning next steps.
* Support children's emotional well-being by providing guidance and encouragement.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of care and education.
* Uphold health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Experience
* Previous experience in childcare or early years education is essential.
* A background in managing groups of children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with children and families.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
* A genuine drive to support children's learning and development is essential for success in this role.

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
