You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Electricity Settlement team, with a focus on developing team members, driving process improvements, and ensuring high performance against internal and industry KPIs. The role covers both our Non-Half Hourly (NHH) and Half Hourly (HH) portfolios and supports our business in preparing for qualification under the new Market-Wide Half Hourly (MHHS) settlement reforms. You will lead a team of operations executives, manage training, performance, and wellbeing, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including metering agents, third-party intermediaries (TPIs), system developers, and regulatory bodies such as Elexon, Ofgem, and DESNZ. In addition to leadership, you'll analyze meter portfolios to identify Smart Meter opportunities, support strategic projects, and seek operational efficiencies. You will also play a key role in preparing for and managing industry audits. Skills and Experience Needed
Experience in the energy industry with a solid understanding of the Electricity sector and customer processes. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, demonstrating strong computer literacy. Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with due diligence requirements. Understanding of NHH and HH settlement processes and ability to liaise with regulatory bodies.
