Location: St Pius Xth Catholic Primary School, Consett

Grade: Grade G, SCP 19-23 (£32,061 - £34,434 per annum, pro rata)

Hours: Permanent, 29.6 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

St Pius Xth Catholic Primary School are proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England, which will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.

St Pius Xth Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to deliver in class support, lead interventions and deliver whole class cover for PPA sessions.

The successful candidate will:

* Have knowledge and experience across the primary curriculum
* Demonstrate that they are able to support children with a variety of learning needs
* Be able to work independently, leading teaching in some sessions
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life
* Have effective behaviour management skills
* Have the ability to support our pupils in their personal, social and emotional well-being
* Have a willingness to take on responsibility and be accountable
* Have a commitment to work in close partnership with parent and carers
