🔧 Contract RF / Hardware Engineer (Long Wave Radio | Sub-GHz Radar)

We're seeking an experienced RF / Hardware Engineer to support an ongoing long-wave radio and sub-GHz radar project. This is a hands-on, technical contract role, ideal for someone with strong mixed-signal and RF design skills who enjoys solving complex hardware challenges.
What you'll be working on
* Contributing to the design, development, and optimisation of long-wave radar systems
* Working across RF front-end design, signal integrity, and mixed-signal hardware
* Supporting PCB-level design, testing, and integration of sub-GHz components
* Collaborating with a small, focused engineering team on innovative low-frequency RF solutions
What we're looking for
* Proven background in RF / analog circuit design (ideally sub-GHz or long-wave systems)
* Experience with mixed-signal electronics, filtering, and impedance matching
* Some hardware engineering experience (schematic capture, board bring-up, debugging)
* Familiarity with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes)
* Comfortable working independently 1–2 days per week — on-site or remotely
