The Mease is a new academy which opened in September 2019, part of the Spencer Academies Trust. We have grown from just one class to seven classes and are now a full school. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous team, initially in our FS2 class covering a maternity leave, from November 2025.
We Are Looking For a Practitioner Who
* Loves working with children and puts their wellbeing first
* Has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Is motivated and passionate to achieve the very best for the children in our care and makes a genuine difference
* Enjoys a continuous provision approach, supporting children to learn through play
* Makes learning visible through inquiry and can make learning fun
* Takes their own initiative to assess and evaluate pupils’ needs
* Has excellent communication skills and a sense of humour
* Will deliver whole class sessions in the absence of the teacher
* Has early years and/or key stage 1 experience
* Wants to be involved in everything
