This is a fantastic opportunity to provide vital teaching support to students helping them thrive academically and personally. You'll be an integral part of our team, working during term time on a temporary contract until July 2026. What You'll Be Doing: As a Special Support Assistant, you'll provide essential non-teaching care and support 1:1 or small groups. Your responsibilities will include:. Providing support in the classroom: This could include helping students with tasks, organising materials, and ensuring they can participate in class activities. Supporting social and emotional development: You'll help students build relationships and develop social skills. Facilitating communication: You may help students communicate with teachers and peers. Promoting independence: You'll encourage students to develop self-help skills and become more independent. Collaborating with teachers and other professionals: You'll work as part of a team to support each student's individual needs.
