Job Description
As an Aberdeen based Regional Senior Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring consistency, and providing leadership and guidance to the culinary teams within your assigned region. Your culinary expertise, managerial skills, and passion for food will contribute to the success and growth of our organisation.
Qualifications
* Lead the revamp of the catering offer and kitchen management at a prestigious Highlands location, focusing on local suppliers and quality fair, maximizing sales, and preparing a competent chef team for peak season 2025.
* Provide culinary leadership and expertise across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, recipes, and guidelines.
* Develop innovative menus with culinary teams, meeting customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and regional trends.
* Train, mentor, and motivate culinary staff to achieve excellence in food prep, presentation, and service. Conduct regular training to enhance skills.
* Maintain quality control standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Conduct inspections and address issues.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, implementing proper handling and storage procedures.
* Manage food and labor costs within budgets, analyzing financial reports and implementing cost-saving strategies.
* Foster relationships and communicate effectively with other departments to align goals and streamline processes.
* Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, seeking opportunities to innovate.
* Work towards Baxterstorey’s chef academy level 4 qualification and beyond.
